so when she gets woken up by the horse, she just so happy. and her dad is wondering what's going on in her room so he stomps up and you can hear him yelling. the horse freaks out and jumps out the window, instantly grows wings so as not to fall to it's death (again don't ask, it's a film! okay?) and the girl goes after it (cause she doesn't want to be with a yelling parent) so this is her falling out of the window, and she's able to get her wings so she can be with her pony friend. (and if you didn't notice, she ends up dying to get her wings)

its a happy but sad ending isnt it?
